It’s Monday, so that means it’s time for a musing. I remember doing these in coffee shops during my lunch break. I would sit with my latte, or milk tea, and just give my brain time to think about what I’ve been up to lately. It’s nice, actually, to sit, and pause, and let your brain catch up with itself. Maybe the feelings of absolute overwhelm that have washed over me from time to time are directly related to my lack of musing, well, this will be the perfect remedy.
Life lately
In a word, chaotic. In two? Reeling by. in just a few short months, I’ll reach my two year mark in China. I don’t know wherre the time went, and I don’t even feel lose yet to setting out the things I’ve wanted to accomplish. There’s so much to see and do, and I’ve barely scratched the surface.
My Travels Past and Future
I don’t explicitly remember the last time I did a musing, but I remember that it was a LONG TIME AGO. Because of that, I don’t know if you know that I WENT TO THE PHILIPPINES! Again! This time, I stayed for longer than a layover, and I’m so glad I did. I loved my time in the Philippines. While nothing can top Thailand just yet, islands like Palawan and Boracay made the Phillippines a close second! There’s so many places I still want to go, so I’ll definitely be back.
I want to make time to beef up my little slice of the internet a bit, so I want to dedicate a whole post to my time there: the things I ate, saw, and did.
In the meantime, I also have a really exciting trip coming up. Skyscanner came through for me with a really decently price flight to *drumroll please* I don’t want to say it yet because people give you the evil eye very easily.
Books
I’m reading. Trying to read 104 again this year and everytime I log in to goodreads or storygraph, the information is the same: “You are nine books behind schedule.” Give me some time ALGORITHM!!! I get it already.
Okay I fear I’m falling asleep and quite possibly leaving coherency, and that’s why I’ll wrap up! I can stay awake with grandpa and draw stars and reminisces. WHAT did that sentence come from? I don’t know. This has been Monday Musings (And maybe a litttle bit Tuesday!)
